Antique Georgian Armchair \ Mahogany Desk Statement Chair \ Fireside Reading Chair

An antique Regency “Trafalgar” open armchair in mahogany dating from circa 1810. With centre back rail, out-swept sabre legs to the back and turned legs to the front. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Webbing has some age and a little droop but still well stuffed and supports nicely.

Some slight give to the frame but sturdy and strong as expected with age. Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Recovered upholstery – would benefit reupholstery as there is wear and marks to the fabric. Some old worm holes to the under frame of the seat which are long since active but have been treated.

We use a national furniture courier which is always a 2 man delivery and is usually a room to room service.

The courier will provide a 3 hour time slot the day before delivery and they will provide live tracking on the day.
