Vintage Chesterfield Style Desk Chair by William Hands For Restoration

A vintage desk chair by William Hands of High Wycombe.

The chair is being sold in as found condition and does require some light restoration to be enjoyed at its best but it could be used as it is perfectly well.

The fabric is a suede type material in a textured green. Some of the stitching is loose as shown in the photos, but it isn’t really noticeable. There are marks and scuffs throughout. Seat springs are firm and offer good support.

The adjustment mechanism doesn’t seem to work but the height of the chair is set at an appropriate height.

Castors are all present and roll freely. the solid wood base has nice wear commensurate with age and has the William Hands stamp.

We use a national furniture courier which is always a 2 man delivery and is usually a room to room service.

The courier will provide a 3 hour time slot the day before delivery and they will provide live tracking on the day.
